SentryBay Launches the macOS Armored Client for Citrix

SentryBay announced today the release of a Mac version of their Armored Client for Citrix software, the first solution that securely “wraps” the Citrix Receiver on macOS. The solution will be showcased at Citrix Synergy in Orlando, May 22-24, 2017.

This solution includes key security processes which ensure the integrity of the Citrix Logon process, as well as protecting the entire Citrix session from both endpoint threats and MITM/MITB attacks. It secures against emerging cybersecurity threats, and helps meet global compliance standards that are challenged through the use of BYOD devices.

This launch also allows companies to more easily manage receiver deployment and maintenance, avoid browser-related management issues, while facilitating smart card support.

SentryBay’s macOS Armored Client for Citrix includes the following features:

The system also includes software user registration, phased enterprise deployment, software licensing/registration, automatic updates and features a management portal providing easy maintenance by an administrator.

The Mac version of the Armored Client for Citrix sits alongside the Windows version released in 2016, which also includes SentryBay’s patented pro-active security technologies and additional Windows-specific features such as separate Windows desktop and one-time Windows users.

CEO and Co-founder Dave Waterson said “we are pleased to announce to our banking and enterprise customers that we have been able to meet the high security standards we set with our Windows edition with this new Mac version. This ensures our customers can deploy across their entire estate – internal and BYOD – with the same security and compliance controls being met.”
